I don't really talk much about films, because I figure everyone has their opinion, and there's so many critics anymore online that really anyone can find what they want to read and buy into it. I've read a lot about people's thoughts (both good and bad), and think some are really valid, but seem rather petty at times.
For instance: It's not bad that Christopher Nolan didn't follow the comic books for the stories. That's the beauty of drawing inspiration for something. You take what's there, and make your own idea out of it. I think this is a point that many people miss often with books/comics - turned - film. It doesn't always have to be closely followed, in my opinion.
Bane was said by some to be a lacking villain. I think he did fine in that role. His purpose was to be the physical strength of Miranda Tate's Mental strength filled plot. Just like any job, you need positions to fill and carry out. Miranda Tate was to lure and get access to Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Bane was to wreak the havoc and damage as much as he could. The voice, admittedly was hard to comprehend at times, but overall, I thought it was really cool.
Catwoman/Selena Kyle is the only thing I really had a problem with in the film. She came off at times as if she was trying too hard to be sultry and sexy.
The action scenes were great, the story was fun to watch, and visually it's just a fun film.
