I really wasn't expecting much when I started watching Gnomeo and Juliet. I was pretty entertained by it. Definitely a really fun movie, with a very clever twist on the (obvious) Shakespearean classic Romeo and Juliet.
But to be fair, I love animated films that get clever with changing the way us humans do things to fit the characters needs. That's why I enjoy A Bug's Life (despite the slow moving nature of it).
Overall, it's not the greatest animated film ever, but it IS really enjoyable. Check it out on Redbox or HBO if you get the chance. It's worth at least that much.
